A Blessed Mess 😩

Hello!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mine definitely could've been better. Blessed in the midst of a mess though. I moved the Monday before Thanksgiving, and let me tell you, the experience was awful. My new home is beautiful, but you all know how stressful moving can be. And I only moved a town over, but let me tell you, I. AM. EXHAUSTED.

Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. It had me questioning, “Is this racism, sexism, or a dash of both?” You know the feeling. It’s frustrating, and in today’s climate, it feels all too familiar. But I made a decision that this situation wasn’t going to steal my peace or my joy.

Sure, I had to do some things I felt were unfair just to get things sorted out, but sometimes, you have to choose your battles. Staying mad would’ve only added to my stress, and I’m so glad I chose peace. So, after all the chaos, we’re finally settling in and finding some normalcy. Hallelujah! 🙌🏾

Now that things are calming down, it’s time for one of my favorite holiday traditions: baking! I absolutely love whipping up treats this time of year. And while I’m not a big drinker, I can’t resist a festive holiday cocktail or beverage. Give me all the gingerbread and toasted marshmallow flavors! What are your favorites? Do you make them at home or head out to indulge?

Since I’m still unpacking (pray for me), I’ll keep this week’s newsletter short. If you’re hunting for stocking stuffers or gifts for coworkers, check out my lined notebooks on Amazon. They’re cute, simple, and practical. I hope you think so too. 😜

Oh, and here’s your little bonus treat for the week: If you’re focused on health and wellness heading into 2025, I’ve got a dietician recommendation for you. I had to pause my appointments during the move, but I plan to pick back up with her after the holidays. My insurance covers unlimited sessions with no out-of-pocket cost, so yours might too! There are other dieticians out there, but of course, I think Nayery is the best. If you like what you see, you can book with her here. Remember, taking care of ourselves is the ultimate gift. Happy and healthy trails to you!

Ingrid 💜
