Buy Yourself Flowers, Cast Your Vote & Embrace the Extra Hour! 🌹🗳️🕰️

Hey friend,

This week was one for the books! I decided to take Tuesday off to relax, but life had other plans. My neighbor’s dog made sure I was wide awake with nonstop barking, and then someone banged on my door only to realize they had the wrong address! But I didn’t let that get to me—I turned the day around. My son and I headed to brunch, caught a matinee of Transformers One, and I even cast my vote. The cherry on top? Treating myself to a bouquet of flowers on the way home.

Those $7 grocery store flowers have been my little reminder all week to treat myself with kindness. So when someone called today, was rude, and even used profanity, I just took a deep breath, glanced at my roses, and told them to have a blessed day before disconnecting. Miley Cyrus’ song, “Flowers,” has been my anthem. Remember, don’t wait for someone else to bring you joy—treat yourself! It doesn’t have to be a fancy bouquet; sometimes, the smallest things make the biggest difference.

Oh, and if you haven’t voted yet, be sure to do so! I proudly cast my vote for Kamala Harris this week—my grandmothers would be proud. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th, so make sure your voice is heard! Need help with a voting plan? Check out VoteSaveAmerica.com

Lastly, this weekend is daylight savings time—don’t forget to “fall back” by setting your clocks an hour back on Saturday night. Sure, it means darker evenings, but I’m excited to grab a little more sleep!

Take care, and remember to bring a little sunshine (or flowers) into your life!

With love,

Ingrid🌸
