Hello!
December has flown by, am I right? Between tying up tasks at work before my break, helping Quincy finish his school assignments, and settling into our new place, I’m amazed I even got the tree and stockings up. And as much as I love to send out a sparkly Christmas card, that didn't happen this year. Honey, I am "tied."
Still, it’s slowly starting to feel like home. Getting more things unpacked and baking cookies all week has helped put me in the holiday spirit. Next week’s break will mean even more treats in the oven. I gotta grab more eggnog and hot chocolate ingredients too. Quincy and I are looking forward to a simple holiday at home, decked out in matching Christmas onesies, enjoying good food, sweet treats, and just relaxing in gratefulness.
If you’re like me and still checking off that shopping list, I have a couple of ideas. 🎁 Check out my inspirational lined journals and Black Girl Coloring Books – thoughtful gifts under $10! Perfect as last-minute stocking stuffers or something special for yourself. Click here to check them out!
I hope you all find time to slow down and soak in the season. Quincy and I might try something fun before the big day, but honestly, staying home with cookies and a good meal is always a good time for us. Can't wait to get to my watchlist!
Keeping this short and wishing you a safe and happy holiday! Remember to be kind to yourself. 💛
Until next time,
Ingrid
